We are currently seeking an exceptional full-time Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the award-winning Sandalford Restaurant operation. THE OPPORTUNITY This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, hands-on hospitality professional to lead one of Western Australia’s premier winery dining operations. The Sandalford Restaurant is a dynamic 200 seat restaurant and bar operation trading seven days for lunch and bar service, together with Friday and Saturday evening dining. The operation interfaces closely with premium tourism, weddings, events and corporate hospitality activity across the estate and delivers 75,000-plus covers annually. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, inspire and develop the front of house team to deliver consistently exceptional guest experiences Maintain and uphold the highest standards of hospitality, presentation, service execution and operational detail Take ownership of the daily operation of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and professional service delivery across all trading periods Lead from the floor through visible, hands-on operational leadership and active guest engagement Monitor and drive operational performance against budgets, KPI expectations and business objectives Prepare operational reporting and recommendations for the Executive Team Foster a positive, energetic and accountable team culture built around professionalism, teamwork and hospitality excellence Work collaboratively with kitchen leadership, winery, cellar door, functions and wider estate operations to deliver seamless guest experiences Contribute to maintaining Sandalford’s award-winning reputation and industry-leading guest review performance Support the ongoing development of service standards, team capability and operational innovation across the business ABOUT YOU Hospitality is your chosen long-term career, not simply a job Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management role within a premium restaurant, hotel, food and beverage or hospitality operation A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate, mentor, coach and inspire teams Highly organised with strong operational, commercial and people management skills Confident communicator with exceptional guest engagement capability, both verbal and written Professional presentation, attention to detail and a strong personal work ethic Ability to perform effectively within a high-energy, fast-paced hospitality environment Commercially aware with sound understanding of labour, service standards and operational performance Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, rostering systems and reporting platforms Management of Licensed Premises Certification is essential Current RSA certificate, Australian Driver’s Licence and Police Clearance Certificate (issued within the last 6 months) required Full Australian working rights You will also possess humility, emotional intelligence, professionalism and a willingness to roll your sleeves up and support the team wherever required.
